ESOS Framework

The Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Framework covers the provision of education services to overseas students.

‘Overseas students’ means people who are not domestic students and hold a student visa to study in Australia, issued by the Australian Government.

The Australian College of Business Intelligence is an ESOS registered provider and complies with the standards, regulations, and obligations set out in the ESOS Framework.

The ESOS Framework comprises the following:

• Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act)
• Education Services for Overseas Students Regulations 2019 (ESOS Regulations)
• National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018 (National Code)
• ELICOS Standards 2018
• other legislative instruments.

The framework provides a consistent national approach, which helps ensure high-quality training and high standards of care for students.
