This is your starting point getting started in Design. You will learn all the fundamentals of design (extending past graphic design) and seeing how you can creatively address requests and meet the demands of future clients. You will also learn elements of shape and colour that impact overall design.
Here’s where you can begin to specialise in Graphic Design. After building your foundational knowledge, you will begin to explore the key concepts of graphic design. You will further build foundational knowledge on key topics surrounding graphic design.
The Advanced Diploma is where you can build a mastery in Graphic Design. By further developing and applying your skills in a practical way, you will gain the advanced skills to apply to your future career. To apply for this qualification, you must have a previous portfolio or showcase previous completion of study.

This will depend on your previous experience and learning. We recommend a Certificate IV for students who have no prior experience – which they can then move to a Diploma and then an Advanced Diploma to further their study.
Course duration will range based on what qualification you will undertake. Qualification durations range from one year to two years.
Domestic students may be eligible to complete the course in less time. Speak to us for more information.
For our International cohort, we have blended learning in place. This means it is a hybrid of on-campus and online learning.
For our Domestic cohort, we have the option for a complete online learning experience.
